Speaker: Dr David Doong
Rev Dr David Doong (PH.D. in Theology, Fuller) is currently the general secretary of CCCOWE (Chinese Coordination Center of World Evangelism). He is a pastor (10 Years in U.S. ministering to Chinese international students, young professionals, and 2nd generation Chinese Americans; 2 years in Taiwan), an adjunct professor in various seminaries (teaching “Practical Theology and Contemporary Issues” and “Ministry Practices in a Pluralistic Society”), and the author of “Practical Theology as Discipleship”and “Missional Discipleship”. His passion is to be a bridge builder between different generations, cultures, and disciplines, exploring faithful ministry pracitces in today’s pluralistic world dominated by the market economy and ideological conflicts.
